ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for a Mandamus to direct the first respondent to re-issue passport to the petitioner by considering petitioner's representation dated 04.06.2025.

2. The learned Government Advocate for the respondents 2 and 3 submits that the petitioner has been arrayed as Accused No.5 in crime No.50 of 2021 on the file of the third respondent police station for the offences under Sections 294(b), 406, 420 and 506(2) of the IPC. It is further informed that a charge sheet has been filed before the Judicial Magistrate - II, Kuzhithurai in C.C.No.254 of 2021.

3. Considering the same, the respondents are directed to pass appropriate orders in response to the show cause notice issued to the 2/4

petitioner to which the petitioner has replied on 04.06.2025 as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
