Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Certiorari, to call for the records pertaining to the impugned order passed by the first respondent in his proceedings in Letter No.Vu.Po/2018, dated 13.08.2018 and quash the same as illegal.
ORDER:- This Writ Miscellaneous Petition coming on for orders on this day and upon perusing the petition and the affidavit filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of Mr.C.Mayilvahana Rajendran, Advocate for the Petitioner, and of Mr.M.Lingadurai, Special Government Pleader for the Respondents this Court made the following order:
By Order dated 19.11.2024 in W.P(MD) No.19064 of 2018, this Court issued directions to the petitioner to remove the Prosopis Juliflora Trees, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of copy of the order. Since the good rain fall, the Kanmai is in full storage of water and he could not remove the Posopis Juliflora Trees within the time stipulated by this Court. Hence, the present petition is filed seeking an extension of time.

2.Considering the reasons stated in the affidavit filed in support of the petition, this Court is inclined to allow the petition. 3.Accordingly, this petition is allowed. The petitioner is directed to remove the Posopis Juliflora Trees, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
