Today, the matter is listed in the additional list under the caption "For Being Mentioned" at the instance of the learned counsel for the petitioner.

When the matter is taken up for hearing the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that in the order copy dated 15.06.2026, the name of the Court has been wrongly mentioned as "learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Ariyalur" instead of "The learned Additional District and Sessions Judge/Presiding Officer Special Court for EC and NDPS Act Cases, Pudukkottai". Therefore, the said typographical error has to be corrected.

This Court perused the records and it is seen that the name of the Court has been mentioned "The learned Additional District and Sessions Judge/Presiding Officer Special Court for EC and NDPS Act Cases, Pudukkottai". However in the order copy it is typed as "learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, 1/2 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis

vsg Ariyalur". Therefore, the said typographical error has to be corrected.

4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent Police has no objection.

5. Therefore, Registry is directed to carry out the correct the name of the Court as "The learned Additional District and Sessions Judge/Presiding Officer Special Court for EC and NDPS Act Cases, Pudukkottai" in the order dated 15.06.2026 in Crl.OP(MD).No.11015 of 2026 and issue fresh order copy. All the other observations made in the order copy dated 15.06.2026 remains intact.
