(Crime No.275 of 2020) ...Respondents PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C, to direct the respondents to conduct the investigation and to file the final report in Crime No.275 of 2020 dated 03.04.2020 on the file of the 2nd respondent police before the concerned court within stipulated time fixed by this Court.

ORDER

This petition is filed seeking direction to the respondents to complete the trial process and file the final report within the time stipulated by this Court.

2.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents would submit that investigation has been completed and the final report is also made ready and the same will be filed before the concerned court in short time.

3.Now the grievance of the petitioner is that even though the petitioner is an accused in the aforesaid crime, the vehicle involved in the aforesaid occurrence has been seized and the same is under the custody of the respondent police for more than 1 year. 4.Considering the grievance that has been expressed by this petitioner, since the investigation has been completed, the 2nd respondent is directed to file the final report within a period of 15 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after completing the official formalities.
