PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 528 of BNSS Act, to call for the records to the Charge Sheet in C.C.No.99 of 2026 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate Court-I, Kovilpatti, and quash the same as illegal.

ORDER

The present petition has been filed by A1 & A2 in C.C.No.99 of 2026, on the file of the Judicial Magistrate Court-I, Kovilpatti, seeking to quash the charge sheet wherein the petitioners are charged with the offences under Sections 126(2), 296(b), 308(4) and 351(3) of BNS, 2023.

2. Pending trial, the parties have entered into a compromise wherein the defacto complainant had agreed for quashing of the charge sheet.

3. Today, the defacto complainant is present in-person and he acknowledges the fact that he had agreed for quashing of the charge sheet.

4. Considering the above said facts, charge sheet in C.C.No.99 of 2026, on the file of the Judicial Magistrate Court-I, Kovilpatti, is hereby quashed.

5. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands allowed. The joint compromise memo shall form part and parcel of the order. 15.06.2026 NCC : Yes/No Index : Yes/No Internet: Yes/No RJR 2/4
