COMMON ORDER : The Court made the following order :- Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and the learned counsel appearing for the intervenor and the learned Government Advocate(Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent.

2. The petitioners are figuring as accused Nos.1 and 2 in Crime No.863 of 2019 registered on the file of the respondent for the offences under Sections 406, 420 and 506(i) of I.P.C. Apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent police, they seek anticipatory bail.

3. The first accused Nagammal running a Beauty Parlour and engaged in other business. The defacto complainant is said to have been persuaded by the first accused to give several lakhs of rupees to the second accused. The second accused is said to have been running a trust. The defacto complainant was assured that she will be getting handsome returns on her investment.

4. The learned counsel appearing for the second accused would submit that the defacto complainant had earlier lodged a complaint before the City Crime Branch in which all the allegations were made only against Nagammal.

5. The learned counsel appearing for the defacto complainant submitted that the conversation taken place between the parties has been duly recorded and that the same would speak for itself.

6. Since the allegations made against accused Nos.1 and 2 are fairly serious, I am of the view that this is not a matter in which anticipatory bail can be granted. The Criminal Original petitions stand dismissed.
