ORDER

Seeking to direct the respondents to issue non traceable certificate to the petitioner in the document mentioned in the complaint dated 09.05.2026 in Reference Number.OLC6082600018107, this writ petition is filed. 1/9

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner's sale deed dated 25.06.2008 bearing Document No.1747 of 2008 was misplaced and lost, for which the petitioner had given a complaint on 09.02.2026. Since the same was not considered, the petitioner is before this Court.

3. The learned Government Advocate(crl.side) submitted that the Director General of Police had already issued Circular Memorandum, dated 01.04.2022 in this regard with respect to issuance of NOC, where the applicants have to produce certain documents. On such production of the documents, the respondent police will take necessary steps.

4. Heard the learned counsel on either side and carefully perused the materials available on record.

5. The petitioner has given a complaint for issuance of NOC on 12.01.2026. The petitioner is further directed to produce all the necessary documents as required by the respondent police in terms of the Circular Memorandum, which is extracted below:

On production of the above said documents as required in the Circular Memorandum extracted supra, the 2nd respondent police is directed to take necessary steps for issuance of Non-Traceable Certificate to the petitioner with respect to the sale deed bearing Document No.1747 of 2008 dated 25.06.2008 on the file of the Sub-Registrar, Thisayanvilai.
