.. Respondents PRAYER: Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records relating to the impugned order passed by the 1st respondent in Na.Ka.No.A2/39701/1998, dated 18.12.2017 and quash the same and

consequently direct the respondents to secure the Panjami Land in S.Nos. 495, 496, 497/3 608, 609, situated at Sanamangalam Village, Lalgudi Taluk, Trichy District, from the encroachers, remove the encroachment and disburse them to the Adi Dravidar (Schedule Caste) Community People. ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by The Hon'ble CHIEF JUSTICE] Heard the learned counsel for the parties.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that under the impugned order, the assignment given to the Adi Dravidar (Schedule Caste) Community People have been illegally cancelled.

3. The learned Government Pleader submits that the aggrieved persons have a remedy of appeal as against the said order.

4. In light of that, the Writ Petition is disposed of. The petitioner and or the aggrieved persons may avail the alternate remedy as may be permissible under law.
