This Writ Petition is filed for a mandamus directing the first respondent to take a decision on the proposal made by the District Revenue Officer, Trichirappalli dated 05.09.2022.
2. According to the learned counsel for the petitioner, there was a mistake committed during the UDR survey and therefore, the petitioner has sent an application to the District Revenue Officer. After considering the materials placed before the District Revenue Officer, the District Revenue Officer has ordered rectification of mistakes and ordered that mutations be carried out in the name of A.G.Subramanian, vide order dated 16.12.2021 and also sent a proposal to the first respondent on 05.09.2022 to make necessary corrections in the portal of ''Tamil Nizham'' web-site. The petitioner's grievance is that the said 2/5
proposal dated 05.09.2022 is pending for the past 1 year before the first respondent.
3. The learned Special Government Pleader seeks short accommodation to get written instructions from the first respondent.
4. Considering the limited relief sought for in this Writ Petition, this Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to the first respondent to take a decision on the recommendation made by the second respondent as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
