ORDER

The petitioner has approached this Court that the respondent police are harassing him under the guise of an enquiry based on the complaint of the 3rd respondent.

2.The learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that for having filed this petition the petitioner has been harassed by the respondent police. Last night at 10.30 pm the Inspector of Police Ms.Valarmathi came to his house and threatened the petitioner. 3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl Side) appearing for the respondent police submits that the petitioner is working in a church and the 3rd respondent is the Priest of the said church, who has lodged a complaint that the petitioner by issuing bogus receipts has misappropriated the church funds. Therefore, a petition enquiry dated 30.06.2025 is conducted by calling the petitioner for an enquiry and they are not harassing the petitioner.

5.It appears that the complaint has been lodged against the petitioner on 30.06.2025 and it has been treated as petition enquiry in CSR No.360 of 2025, dated 30.06.2025. The petitioner shall appear for enquiry before the respondent police. If the respondent police find any materials against the petitioner, they shall proceed with by taking appropriate action and conclude the enquiry within period of two weeks. The respondent shall not harass the petitioner to satisfy the personal motives if any for the 3rd respondent with the petitioner. Accordingly this petition is disposed of.
