Seeking police protection for digging bore well in front of petitioner's house, the petitioner has approached this Court. 2.Mr.E.Antony Sahaya Prabahar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor takes notice for the respondents 1 & 2 and submits that the petitioner has submitted a representation on 20.06.2025, seeking police protection for digging bore well in front of his house. The enquiry reveals that there was a common Well in the property belonging to the petitioner and his brothers and the petitioner's brothes have objected for digging bore well. The complaint of this petitioner was closed as the issue is civil in nature among the family members, by advising the respective parties to approach the competent civil Court, to get the appropriate relief. The petitioner was intimated that for such civil dispute, police protection cannot be granted by the respondent police.

3.Recording the aforesaid submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this writ petition is closed, with a direction to the respondent police to furnish a copy of the closure report to this petitioner, enabling her to work out her remedy in the manner known to law. No costs.
