ORDER

The petitioner has come up with the above writ petition seeking for the issue of a writ of mandamus, to direct the respondents to pass orders on the representations dated 28.09.2015 and 30.12.2015 given by the petitioner seeking to cut and remove the trees by issuing transit pass for the petitioner's land situated in R.S.No.604/4 in Gnalam Village, Thovalai Taluk, Kanyakumari District. 2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner.

Mr.A.Muthukaruppan, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents.

3.According to the petitioner, he is managing the estate in R.S.No.604/4, measuring 4 acres, Gnalam Village, Thovalai Taluk, Kanyakumari District wherein the trees are in the ripe stage. Therefore, he submitted a representation before the respondents to cut and remove the trees which have attained ripe stage. Since no order has been passed, the present writ petition has been filed.

4.In view of the limited prayer sought for, the writ petition is disposed of directing the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 30.12.2015 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
