Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the third respondent herein to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representations dated 18.09.2015 and 06.01.2016 for sanction of notional increment payable to the petitioner with prospective effect from 31.12.2014 the date of issue of G.O. Ms.No.311 Finance (CMPC) Department dated 31.12.2014 and being implemented by Govt.Lr.No.5085/CMPC/2015-1/ dated 01.06.2015.

ORDER
The Writ Petition is filed seeking for a Mandamus directing the third respondent herein to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representations dated 18.09.2015 and 06.01.2016 for sanction of notional increment payable to the petitioner with prospective effect from 31.12.2014, the date of issue of G.O. Ms.No.311 Finance (CMPC) Department dated 31.12.2014 and being implemented by Govt.Lr.No.5085/CMPC/2015-1/ dated 01.06.2015. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
2. Mr.V.Muruganantham, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for R-1, R-3 and R-4 and Mr.P.Gunasekaran, learned counsel takes notice for R-2.
3. By consent, the Writ Petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
4. The learned counsel for petitioner submitted that if a direction is issued to dispose of the representations of the petitioner, dated 18.09.2015 and 06.01.2016, that would suffice.
5. In view of the limited scope of the prayer made, without expressing any opinion on the claim made by the petitioner, the third respondent is directed to consider the representations of the petitioners, dated 18.09.2015 and 06.01.2016, and pass orders on the same, on merits and in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible. With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No Costs.
