ORDER

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, the learned SGP appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the third respondent. Issuance of notice to the private respondents is dispensed with.

2.The petitioner is a permanent resident of Koovakkapatti Village. He alleges that Survey No.102, which is classified as a water body, there are encroachments. He wants the same to be removed. 3.When the matter was taken up for admission, the Special Government Pleader submitted that the second respondent will conduct survey. 2/4

Notices will be issued to all the interested persons including the private respondents herein. If the survey indicates the existence of any encroachment, the encroachment will be removed by adhering to due process of law. All the encroachers will be provided due opportunity before coercive action is taken. The entire exercise shall be completed within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4.This writ petition is disposed of accordingly. There shall be no order as to costs.
