J U D G M E N T

This appeal has been filed to set aside the conviction and sentence imposed by the Special Judge cum Chief Judicial Magistrate, Thanjavur at Kumbakonam by a judgment, in Special Case No.20 of 2014, dated 22.12.2017, and to acquit the appellant.

2. This appeal is preferred by one P.Manivannan, 1st accused in Special Case No.20 of 2014, pending appeal he had died on 26.02.2018.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor produced the death certificate of Mr.P.Arumugam, and the same is recorded. There is no legal heirs are come forward to conduct the case of the appellant.

4. Hence, this Crl.A.(MD)No.20 of 2018 is dismissed as abated. 04.11.2024 NCC : Yes/No Index : Yes/No Internet: Yes/No dss To 1.The Special Judge cum Chief Judicial Magistrate, Thanjavur at Kumbakonam.
