This writ petition has been filed for a direction to the the 3rd respondent to nominate the petitioner as President of 01762, Pudupatti Primary Agriculture Cooperative Credit Society, on account of the demise of the President Late A.Kanagaraj, who expired on 10.11.2020, in the light of the provision under Section 57 (1) and (2) of the Tamil Nadu Cooperative Societies Rules.

2.When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Advocate General for the respondents submitted that the term of office of the President itself came to an end on 06.08.2023 and thereafter a Special Officer has been appointed. Recording the same, this writ petition is closed. Consequently connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
