ORDER

The prayer sought for in this writ petition is to direct the second respondent to issue patta in the name of the petitioner with regard to lands in Survey No.37/1 situated at Aandarkottaram Village, Madurai East Taluk, Madurai District, based on the petitioner's representation, dated 27.03.2019. 2.Heard Mr.G.Gomathi Sankar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, Mr.P.Kannithevan, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

3.With the consent of both sides, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 4.In order to get patta at the land at Survey No.37/1, situated at Aandarkottaram Village, Madurai East Taluk, Madurai District, the petitioner has given a representation, dated 27.03.2019 to the respondents, especially, the second respondent and in this regard, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that, the land in https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

W.P.(MD)No.18214 of 2019 question originally belonged to the father-in-law of the petitioner, after his death, his son ie., the husband of the petitioner inherited the property and the husband of the petitioner also died on 15.12.2007, thereafter, the petitioner inherited the property and therefore, in this regard, the petitioner has sent a representation to the second respondent to get patta. He further submitted that, if the same is decided on merits, within a time frame, the petitioner would be satisfied.

5.I have heard Mr.P.Kannithevan, learned Additional Government Pleader, who would submit that, the representation of the petitioner dated 27.03.2019 would be decided by the second respondent on merits and in accordance with law, after hearing the petitioner as well as the rival claimants, if any, within a time frame to be stipulated by this Court.

6.Having regard to the said submissions made by both sides, this Court is inclined to dispose of this writ petition with the following directions:- "that the second respondent is hereby directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 27.03.2019 and decide the same on merits and in accordance with law, of course after hearing the petitioner as well as the rival claimants, if any and pass final order thereon, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order." 7.With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
