For Respondent : Mr.S.Ravi, Additional Public Prosecutor PETITION FOR ANTICIPATORY BAIL Under Sec.438 of Cr.P.C PRAYER :- For Anticipatory Bail in Crime No.500 of 2022 on the file of the Respondent Police. ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/Accused No.3, apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offence punishable under Sections 8(c), 20(b)(ii)(B), 22(c) and 29

(1) of NDPS Act, 1985 @v8(c), 20(b)(ii), 22(b) and 29(1) of NDPS Act, in Crime No.500 of 2022 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail. 2.The case of the prosecution is that on 03.12.2022 around 8.00 a.m., the defacto complainant, who is said to be the Sub Inspector of Police, had a secret information. Hence, he along with his team, went to the spot and found the accused persons with a white plastic gunny bag. On seeing the police officials, they tried to escape from that place. But, they caught hold first accused and recovered 1.500 kilograms of contraband and 11 tablet strips of Nitrazepam Tablets IP 10 mg.ELZA - 10. Hence, the case.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that this petitioner was arrested in Crime No.313 of 2022, on the file of the Thirumangalam Police Station, on 10.08.2022. Thereafter, only the present FIR was registered as if the contraband was purchased by this accused along with co-accused from one unknown person in Chennai. Later transported the same to the present area and selling the same. 4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the petitioner is not having good conduct. There are several cases in his credit. List of cases also submitted by him. Wherein, we can see that most of the cases are either assault or robbery and under Special Act offences. Considering the bad antecedents, he is not entitled for any discretionary relief from this Court. This Court find no reason to entertain this petition. This petition deserves to be dismissed.
