O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed for a direction, directing the 2nd respondent to grant permission and accord protection for conducting the Kabadi Tournament scheduled on 13.02.2016 8.00 p.m. to 14.02.2016 8.00 a.m. held at Samugarengapuram, Therkur ground, Tirunelveli District.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents.

3. Without going into the merits of the case, the 2nd respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner taking into consideration the antecedents of the petitioner and his capacity to conduct the tournament and all other factors including communal and law and order factors and dispose the same on merits and in accordance with law, expeditiously, preferably on or before 13.02.2016. In the event of the authorities deciding to give permission, the same should include the conditions imposed by this Court in W.P.(MD) No.1474 of 2016 dated 22.01.2016. No costs.
