ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 528 B.N.S.S., seeking orders to direct the learned Judicial Magistrate, Karaikudi to expedite the case in M.C.No.26 of 2022 and dispose of the 1/4

same as expeditiously as possible within a time that may be stipulated by this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned counsel appearing for the respondent.

3. It is evident from the records that the petitioner's mother on behalf of the petitioner has filed a petition in M.C.No.26 of 2022 seeking maintenance under Section 125(1)(b) Cr.P.C. and is pending on the file of the Judicial Magistrate, Karaikudi.

4. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is presently pursuing college education and that the loans as well as the borrowals borrowed for his upbringing is affecting his studies, life and health.

5. Considering the nature of the case and also the fact that the case is pending from 2022 onwards, the learned Judicial Magistrate, Karaikudi is hereby directed to dispose of the case in M.C.No.26 of 2022 2/4

within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
