This writ petition has been filed in the nature of Mandamus, seeking a direction to forbear the third respondent herein from interfering with day today activities of the petitioner's Recreation Club situated at 5F, Ukkiran Nagar, Narammalpuram, Sankar Nagar Post, Tirunelveli District. 2.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submitted that a case has been registered in Crime No. 174 of 2022, against the petitioner, for the offence under Section 12 of the Public Gambling Act, 1867. After investigation, charge sheet has also been filed before the concerned Magistrate Court.
