Complainant PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C, to call for the records in Crime No.463 of 2015 on the file of the 1st respondent police and quash the same against this petitioner as illegal.

ORDER
This petition is filed seeking quashment of Crime No.463 of 2015 on the file of the 1st respondent.
2.The case has been registered for the offences punishable under Sections 341, 294(b), 323 and 506(ii) of IPC on 09.10.2015. The case of the petitioner is that when he was on regular duty as duty Constable in the place of occurrence, he found that the defacto complainant was driving a vehicle in a drunken mood. So, he stopped the defacto complainant and based upon that incident, a false case has been given against this petitioner also, wherein, no specific allegation has been made.
3.Reading of the complaint shows that this petitioner along with the 1st accused appears to have assaulted the defacto complainant and also criminally intimidated him. 4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the 1st respondent would submit that the investigation has been completed and the final report is also made ready on 28.11.2015, but the same has not been filed before the concerned Court so far. 5.It is unfortunate that even after a lapse of 6 years, the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2
Crl.O.P.(MD)No.14808 of 2021 final report is kept pending without being presented the same before the concerned Court. Let the papers be placed before the Superintendent of Police, Dindigul and a detailed report may also be filed before him by the 1st respondent herein. A direction is also issued to the 1st respondent herein to file the final report before the concerned Court immediately. After that, compliance report must be submitted to the Registry. After filing the final report, if the petitioner is aggrieved by the contents of the same, he can workout his remedy appropriately through appropriate proceedings. 6.With the aforesaid direction and liberty, this petition stands dismissed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
