PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C.,to direct the first respondent to file the final report in respect of Crime No.132 of 2019 under Section 420 IPC registered by the respondent police dated 10.05.2019 and investigate the same in accordance with law.

ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking direction to the respondent to complete the investigation and file a final report in Crime No.132 of 2019 pending on the file of the respondent.

2. The grievance of the petitioner is that based on the complaint given by the petitioner, a case in Crime No.132 of 2019 has been registered for the offence punishable under Section 420 IPC by the respondent police on 10.05.2019. But so far, the respondent police has not taken any action on the said complaint. Hence, the petitioner has filed the present petition.

3. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the first respondent, on instructions, would submit that the investigation on the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/4

Crl.O.P.(MD)No.11687 of 2019 complaint given by the petitioner is substantially complete and final report will be filed shortly.

4. Recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side), the respondent police is directed to complete the investigation in the case in Crime No.132 of 2019 and file a final report within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
