..Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the second and third respondents herein to Sanction Educational Loan to the petitioner's son for perusing B.E., Mechanical Engineering Course to the tune of Rs.3,95,200/- for completion of four years studies, as per the certificate issued by the M.A.M. School of Engineering, Trichy, dated 05.10.2015 within the time frame.

O R D E R
The Petitioner has approached this Court seeking a direction to the third respondent to sanction educational loan of a sum of Rs.3,95,200/- to the petitioner's son viz., S.Amarnath, within a time frame.
2.The case of the petitioner is as follows. The petitioner belongs to Most Backward Community and his elder son viz., S.Amarnath has completed Higher Secondary studies in the month of
June 2015 and thereafter, he joined B.E., Mechanical Engineering Course in M.A.M. School of Engineering, Trichy. In order to fund the education of his son, the petitioner is said to have approached the third respondent bank on 08.10.2015 for Educational Loan. In that connection, he had also submitted proper application as per direction given by the Bank Officials. However, inspite of his repeated request, there is no response from the third respondent and all his attempts ended in vain. Therefore, he has approached this Court seeking the relief as stated supra. 3.Last occasion, whem the matter was taken up for hearing, this Court specifically directed the learned Standing counsel appearing for the respondent Bank to get instruction from the third respondent and the matter was posted today(10.04.2017).
Today, the learned counsel appearing for the respondent Bank submits that the third respondent would consider the loan application submitted by the petitioner positively. 4.In view of the submissions made by the learned counsel appearing for the Bank, this Court directs the third respondent to consider the loan application submitted by the petitioner on merits within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The Bank is also directed to consider the claim of the petitioner positively as per bank rules and regulations.
5.This Writ Petition is disposed of with the above directions. There is no order as to costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is also closed.
