O RDER This petition is filed seeking for a direction to the respondent police to complete the investigation and file the charge sheet in Cr.No.13 of 2010 within the time to be fixed by this Court.

2.According to the learned counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner/accused is involved in Crime No.13 of 2010 registered for the offence under Section 420 IPC and that he was also remanded to judicial custody, however, the police have not completed the investigation, thereby sought for suitable directions. 3.It is surprise to know that even after a lapse of 13 long years, the police could not complete the investigation in the case except arrest of 5 accused. There is no convincing response from the respondent police as to why the investigation is pending for the last more than 13 years. However, learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) undertakes that the police will complete the investigation within 8 weeks. The same is recorded.

4.Accordingly, this Petition is disposed of by directing the respondent No.2 police to complete the investigation within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
