ORDER

The petitioner has applied for grant of patta on 17.06.2023 that the land in the Survey No.55 of Kadhakkinaru Village, Madurai East, belongs to him. Since the same has not been considered by the respondents, the petitioner has filed this writ petition.

2. Mr.M.Sarangan, learned Additional Government Pleader, who takes notice for the respondents, has produced "A" Register and submits that the land in Survey No.55 of Kadhakkinaru Village is a Government Poramboke land and is vested with the Tamilnadu State Highways. Therefore, there is no scope for granting patta to the petitioner for the said land.

3. Recording the submission of the learned Additional Government Pleader that the land in Survey No.55 of Kadhakkinaru Village is classified as a Government Poramboke Land and is also vested with the Tamilnadu State Highways, this writ petition is dismissed with liberty to the petitioner to establish his case in the manner known to law. No costs.
