The petitioner only seeks for custody of her minor child as per her representation dated 25.01.2016.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents produced a file and submitted that the petitioner has given marriage of her daughter, who was 15 years old to a 38 years old man. Therefore, under the Child Marriage Act, it is an offence and hence, the child was taken to the home, where she has given a statement that she is not willing to go along with the alleged husband and she has also stated that the mother has compelled her to have sexual intercourse with that person. The Child Welfare Committee, Tiruchirapalli has decided to keep her in Annai Ashramam, Airport, Trichy-7 to continue her studies by an order dated 10.02.2016.

3. In view of the same, nothing survives in this writ petition for adjudication and if the petitioner wants to have any visiting right, she can approach the District Collector and get permission.
