Respondents PRAYER: Habeas Corpus Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus, to call for the records pertaining to the impugned detention order passed by the second respondent made in his proceedings in P.D.No.89/2021 dated 08.08.2021 in detaining the detenue under Section 2 (f) of the Tamilnadu Act 14 of 1982 as a Goonda and quash the same and direct the respondents to produce the Detenu namely Lali @ Manikandan, S/o.Krishnamoorthi, Male, aged about 32 years, who is detained in Central Prison, Salem, before this Court and set him at liberty.

Today when the matter was taken up, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that as per G.O.Rt.No.5038, Home, Prohibition and Excise (XV) Department, dated 28.10.2021, the detention order has been revoked.

2. In view of the same, nothing survives in this Habeas Corpus Petition and therefore this Habeas Corpus Petition is dismissed as infructuous.
