Respondents Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus forbearing the respondents 1 to 3 from laying the electric pole in S.Nos.150/1B and 151/1A instead of S.No.150/2 situated at Nadupatti Village, Manapparai Taluk, Trichy District not otherwise than due process of law.

ORDER

When the matter is taken-up for hearing, the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the Tamil Nadu Electricity Board brought, in a nutshell, submitted that since the electric pole has fallen down, they are trying to erect the said pole in the very same place for which, the petitioner cannot have any objection as the pole has been existed for quite long time. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Therefore, after some elaborate arguments made by the learned Counsel for the petitioner, it is made clear that if the petitioner has got any right, he has to approach only the Civil Court. Suffice to state that the Electricity Board can erect the pole which has been already in existence for quite long time. 3.

In view of the above, this Writ Petition is dismissed. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
