This petition has been filed for issuance of writ of mandamus directing the second respondent to conduct a proper investigation in the petitioner's complaint dated 12.08.2021.
2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has filed a complaint before the first respondent on 12.08.2021 and the same was forwarded to the second respondent and it was taken on file in C.S.R.No.288 of 2021. However, no investigation has been conducted by the second respondent till date and FIR has not been registered. Hence, the present petition has been filed.
3. When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent Police would submit that a proper investigation was conducted in C.S.R.No.288 of 2021 by the respondent Police and after investigation, FIR was registered in Crime No.23 of 2022 for the offence under Sections 109, 406, 420 and 120 IPC.

4. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to the second respondent Police to conclude the investigation in Crime No.23 of 2022 within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
