ORDER

The petitioner claims that his complaint was not attended by the respondent Police. Therefore, he has approached the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Tiruchirappalli and filed a petition under Section 156(3) Cr.P.C., in Cr.M.P.No.2079 of 2023, seeking a direction to register the complaint. The learned Judicial Magistrate, by order dated 27.02.2023, forwarded the complaint to the respondent Police. Despite the same, the respondent Police has not registered the petitioner's complaint. Therefore, the petitioner has filed this petition.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) submits that the petitioner has already lodged a complaint of similar nature, which was registered by the Economic Offences Wing, 2/4

Tiruchirappalli, in Crime No.2 of 2023. Thereafter, on the very same set of facts, the petitioner has lodged another complaint before the Judicial Magistrate No.II, Tiruchirappalli, in the month of February 2023 and the same was forwarded by the learned Judicial Magistrate in Crl.M.P.No.2079 of 2023 on 20.07.2023. The said complaint was duly enquired by the respondent Police. During the enquiry, they have found that the petitioner has already lodged a complaint of similar nature, which has also been registered in Crime No.2 of 2023 and the same is pending before the Economic Offences Wing, Tiruchirappalli. They have also submitted a report before the Judicial Magistrate No.II, Tiruchirappalli, on 21.06.2023.

3. Recording the said submission, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
