O R D E R
The petitioner has submitted an online application for a legal heir certificate that she is the legal heir of one Arumugam. With a grievance that the petitioner's application has not been considered, the petitioner has filed this writ petition.
2.Mr.P.T.Thiraviam, learned Government Advocate, who takes notice for the respondents on instructions submits that the petitioner has applied for legal heir certificate through online. From the particulars given by the petitioner, it appears that there are seven legal heirs to the said Arumugam. The petitioner is also one of the legal 2/5
heirs. The petitioner claims that out of seven legal heirs of Arumugam, four legal heirs have already died. However, the relevant documents to that effect have not been produced by the petitioner. Therefore, the petitioner's application has been rejected by the third respondent on 12.05.2023.
3.Recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate, this writ petition is disposed of with a liberty to the petitioner to obtain necessary death certificates for the deceased legal heirs of the said Arumugam from the concerned officials and shall re-present the application along with the documents. On such receipt of application, the respondents shall consider the same in accordance with law. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
