The petitioner's grievance is that the respondents 4 to 6 have received money from him, under the guise of arranging a job for his son-in-law and have cheated him. Therefore, he has lodged a complaint before the third respondent, but the same has not been enquired and therefore, this petitioner is before this Court with this writ petition.

2.Mr.E.Antony Sahaya Prabahar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, who takes notice for the respondents 1 to 3 submits that the complaint of this petitioner was enquired by the respondent police in current paper enquiry in P4/42838/604/2024, dated 09.11.2024 and the same was closed by the respondent police as the petitioner undertook to appear before the respondent with the 2/5

correct address of the opposite party. He further submits that the attempts made by the respondent police to find out the address of the opposite party also failed. A copy of the closure report is also placed before this Court.

3.Recording the submissions made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Criminal Original Petition is closed with a direction to the respondent police to furnish a copy of the closure report to the petitioner to work out his remedy in the manner known to law. No costs.
