RESPONDENT/RESPONDENT Petition filed praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the petition filed therewith the High Court may be pleased to extend the time limit granted in Crl.OP.No.16147 of 2020 dt.30.12.2020 and pass such other orders as this Hon'ble Court. Order : This petition coming up for orders on this day, upon perusing the petition filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of M/S.THIRUPATHY S, Advocate for the petitioner and of Mr.P.KOTTAI CHAMY, Govt. Advocate (CRL Side) for Respondent the court made the following order:- This petition has been filed to extend the time to comply with the condition imposed in Crl.O.P.(MD)No.16147 of 2020 dated 30.12.2020.

2. It appears that the petitioner has been granted anticipatory bail as early as on 30.12.2020 and after a period of nine months, this application has been filed for extension of time, stating that due to the pandemic situation, the petitioner could not arrange the sureties. This Court is not satisfied with the reasons assigned in the petition. Therefore, this petition is dismissed with liberty to the petitioner to file a fresh application for anticipatory bail, if so advised.
