ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed on the apprehension that the respondents will grant quarrying or mining lease to third parties within 300 meters of the petitioner's solar plant situated in Chekkapatti and Nadakottai Village, Dindigul District.
2.Notice had been issued in the Writ Petition. The Tahsildar, Nilakottai Taluk, has filed a counter affidavit on 23.09.2022. In the counter affidavit, he has stated as follows:
"It is made clear that in view of already existing inhabited sites and developments in the said area and in particular the fact that a solar power plant is a source for clean energy to the State, there is no intention to grant quarrying lease or mining permission to any person or entity within 300 meters of the petitioners premises."

3.Since there is no proposal to grant any mining lease, the apprehension of the petitioner is unfounded. Hence, recording the counter affidavit, this Writ Petition is dismissed. No costs.
