Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to give permission to glory festival prayer meeting in the petitioner's church on August 20.08.2019 and 21.08.2019 at 06.00 p.m., to 01.00 a.m., to the petitioner, based on the petitioner's representation made by him dated 13.08.2019.

O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to give permission to conduct prayer meeting in the petitioner's Church on 20.08.2019 and 21.08.2019.

2. Today, when the Writ Petition was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) appearing for the respondents, on instructions, submitted that already, the petitioner's representation has been considered and the permission has been rejected by the Tahsildar as well as the police.

3. In the above circumstances, the prayer sought for by the petitioner cannot be granted. Hence, the Writ Petition stands dismissed. However, if the petitioner has any grievance over the same, it is open to him to challenge the same in the manner known to law. No costs.
