PRAYER :- For Bail in Crime No.82 of 2022 on the file of the Respondent police.

ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner is facing charges under Section 306 IPC in Crime No.82 of 2022 on the file of the respondent police. 2.The case of the prosecution is that on 04.07.2022 at about 06.36 p.m., the deceased informed the defacto complainant that on the previous date, ie., on 03.07.2022, the petitioner and his wife abused him in filthy language and also assaulted him, he consumed poison and died. Based upon the aforesaid information, now the case has been registered under Section 306 IPC against this petitioner and his wife.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has been arrested on 04.07.2022 and ever since he is in custody. He would further submit that the co-accused has been granted anticipatory bail in CRL OP(MD). No.14537 of 2022 by this Court vide order dated 12.08.2022.

4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) for the respondent would submit that no previous bad antecedents is reported against this petitioner.

CRL OP(MD). No.14613 of 2022 5.Considering the facts and the circumstances of this case and also considering the duration of the custody, this Court is inclined to grant bail to the petitioner with stringent conditions. 6.Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is allowed and the petitioner is ordered to be released on bail, on executing a personal bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) with two sureties each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Thoothukudi, and on further condition that the petitioner shall report before the respondent police daily at 10.30 a.m. until further orders. sd/- 16/08/2022 / TRUE COPY / /08/2022 Sub-Assistant Registrar (C.S.)
