PRAYER : Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C, directing the respondents 2 and 3 not to interfering the peaceful administration run by the petitioner as Pannaikarar in respect of the Selva Vinaykar Sri Muthumari Amman Temple affairs situated at Kalipatty Village, Ammapatty Post, Thuraiyur Taluk, Trichy District. 1/4

For Petitioner : Mr.C.Jeganathan For R-1 to R-3 : Mr.SS.Madhavan Government Advocate (Criminal) O RDER This Criminal Original Petition is filed seeking for a direction to respondent Nos.2 and 3 not to interfere in the peaceful administration run by the petitioner in respect of Selva Vinaykar Sri Muthumari Amman Temple.

2. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner is the administrator of Selva Vinaykar Sri Muthumari Amman Temple upto 2015 and again from 2022 onwards. Respondent Nos.4 and 5 during their tenure, have committed misappropriation of funds and at the instance of the petitioner and the villagers have paid back the money misappropriated by them. It is submitted that respondent Nos.4 and are creating rumors that the petitioner has misappropriated the money. The Temple have filed a false complaint before the Police, basing on this, the Police have been harassing the petitioner and interfering with the administration of the temple.

Learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) on the other hand submits that on receiving complaint from respondent Nos.4 and 5, a Peace committee Meeting was conducted by the Tahsildar with all the parties concerned and all the issues pending were resolved and closed. It is submitted further that there is no complaint or representation of un-official respondents pending against the petitioner and that the Police are not at all harassing and interfering with the administration. The same is recorded.

4. Since there is no complaint pending against the petitioner, no further orders are required to be passed in this Criminal Original Petition. Therefore, this Criminal Original Petition stands closed. 20.07.2023 NCC : Yes/No Index : Yes/No Internet : Yes/No tsg 3/4
