ORDER
The petitioner before this Court is a five years old baby, represented by her mother / natural guardian, Saranya Devi. The marriage between the said Saranya Devi and the respondent herein was solemnized on 30.03.2015 and out of the wedlock, they were blessed with a baby girl / the petitioner herein. However, due to some misunderstanding, the relationship between the parties ended in strain and a 1/4
petition in HMOP.No.669 of 2018 came to be filed before the Family Court, Madurai, seeking divorce on mutual consent. The said application was also ordered on 04.04.2018 and the parties are living separately.
2.The petitioner is being taken care of by her mother / Saranya Devi and they are residing at Saranya Devi's parental house. Their grievance is that the respondent is not providing any maintenance to them and they have filed M.C.No.54 of 2019 before the Family Court, Madurai, seeking maintenance. However, the said application is still pending without any progress and therefore, they have come up with this instant revision petition seeking a direction to dispose of the petition in M.C.No.54 of 2019 within a stipulated time limit.
3.This Court has perused the B-Diary extract. Considering that the petition is for maintenance for the petitioner / minor child and her mother and also taking into account that the petition is pending from the year 2019, there shall be a direction to the Family Court, Madurai, to dispose of the petition in M.C.No.54 of 2019, 2/4
as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of five months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
4.With the above direction, this civil revision petition stands disposed of. No costs.
