This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to grant permission and necessary police protection to perform the cultural programme (ie.,) "Adal Padal" on 25.08.2019 night at about 07.00 p.m., to 11.00 p.m., in connection with temple festival at Arulmigu Sri Kannan Thirukkovil is situated at M.Duraisamipuram, Villampatti Post, Sivakasi Taluk, Virudhunagar District.

The grievance of the petitioner is that seeking permission and protection to conduct Adal Padal programme on 25.08.2019 in the above said temple, the petitioner made a representation on 01.08.2019 to the respondents and the said representation was not https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/4

Crl.O.P.(MD)No.18149 of 2019 considered so far. Hence, the present Writ Petition has been filed for the aforesaid relief.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, without going into the merits of the case, the second respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 01.08.2019 and pass suitable orders on merits and in accordance with law, forthwith.

5. The Writ Petition stands disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
