O R D E R
[Order of the Court was made by S.M.SUBRAMANIAM, J.] The grievance of the petitioner is that the authorities concerned have not initiated action for removal of encroachments in the subject land.
2. Learned Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 9, on instructions, submitted a survey has already been conducted and notice under Section 7 of the Tamil Nadu Land Encroachment Act, 1905, was issued to the encroachers. After affording an opportunity to the encroachers, final notice under Section 6 of the said Act also issued to the encroachers. Thus, the authorities will complete the enforcement action.
3. In view of the above submission, the official respondents are
directed to complete the enforcement action and remove the encroachments by following the procedures as contemplated, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
4. With the above observation, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. [S.M.S., J.] [G.A.M., J.] 11.08.2025 NCC :
