Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to rectify the admitted scanning error by deleting the

wrongly scanned Document No.681/2023, to re-scan and upload the petitioners Sale Deed bearing Document No.680/2023 and consequently release the original registered Sale Deed bearing Document No. 680/2023 dated 11.05.2023 registered on the file of the 4th respondent Sub Registrar Office, Kalakkad, within a time frame fixed by this Honble Court and pass such further or other orders as this Honble Court may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of the case and thus render justice.

ORDER

The present writ petition has been filed for the following relief:- "Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to rectify the admitted scanning error by deleting the wrongly scanned Document No.681/2023, to rescan and upload the petitioners Sale Deed bearing Document No.680/2023 and consequently release the original registered Sale Deed bearing Document No.680/2023 dated 11.05.2023 registered on the file of the 4th respondent Sub Registrar Office, Kalakkad, within a time frame fixed by this Honble Court and pass such further or other orders as this Honble Court may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of the case and thus render justice."

2. Heard Mr.P.Saravana Kumar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.S.Vashik Ali, learned Government Standing Counsel, who takes notice on behalf of the respondents.

3. When the matter came up for hearing today, the learned Government Standing Counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents submitted that, upon noticing the error that had crept into the records, necessary consequential proceedings were initiated and, ultimately, on 15.06.2026, the error was rectified. It is further submitted that the original document bearing Doc. No. 680 of 2023 was also handed over to the petitioner on 15.06.2026.

4. Recording the same, the writ petition stands closed. No costs. 15.06.2026 rgm
