ORDER

The petitioner has prayed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the third respondent to survey the land situated in T.S.No.14/14 measuring 1196.25 sq.ft. and T.S.No.14/15 measuring 3360 sq.ft. in Ponmeni Village, Madurai West Taluk, Madurai District, on the basis of his representation, dated 28.07.2022.

2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 submits that pursuant to the representation of the petitioner, dated 28.07.2022, a detailed enquiry has been conducted and the Revenue Divisional Officer, Madurai, has passed an order vide his proceedings, in Na.Ka.No.7801/2022/B, dated 18.11.2022, directing the second respondent/Tahsildar to cancel the Patta issued to the petitioner on 30.06.2022 and to measure the property in question based on the documents of the petitioner and the fourth respondent within a period of three days.

3. Recording the aforesaid submission made by the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 3, this Writ Petition is closed. No costs.
