ORDER

Heard the learned counsel for the writ petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents 1 to 3. 2.The petitioner challenges the decision taken in a peace committee meeting convened by the third respondent. It has been held time and again that such decisions are not amenable to legal challenge. They are bereft of any statutory value or force. I however make it clear that no statutory authority will enforce them also. This is because the proceedings have not been initiated under any provision of Criminal Procedure Code. 3.With this observation, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
