Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to transfer the petitioner's husband Somu @ Somasundaram, convict No.5387 confined in Central Prison Madurai to Central Prison Puzhal, Chennai in the light of Rule 568 of Tamil Nadu Prison Rules 1983. This writ petition has been filed, seeking a direction to the respondents to transfer the petitioner's husband Somu @ Somasundaram,convict No.5387 confined in Central Prison Madurai to Central Prison Puzhal, Chennai in the light of Rule 568 of Tamil Nadu Prison Rules 1983.

2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents. 3.This Writ Petition is taken up for admission. The learned Additional Government Pleader submitted that the Deputy Inspector General of Prison has sent a communication dated 25.11.2015 to the Additional Director General of Prison recommending to transfer of convict prisoner Somu @ Somasundaram, convict No.5387 from the Central Prison, Madurai to Puzhal which is also the prayer of the petitioner. Under such circumstances, the Additional Director General of Prison is directed to pass orders on the recommendation of the Deputy Inspector General of Prison dated 25.11.2015 within a https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

period of four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
