Respondent PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent i.e., the District Collector, Ramanathapuram to pass appropriate orders on the petitioner's representation dated 23.08.2021 by sending proposals to the Accountant General, Chennai for implementation of the recommendations of the pay grievance redressal committee along with his service register with revised entries of G.O.No.418, dated 12.11.2020 duly counter signed and observing the clarification letter No.44119/CMPC issued by the Finance (CMPC) Department dated 25.02.201, within a specified time frame that may be fixed by this Court.

O R D E R

When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Standing Counsel for State appearing for the respondent would submit that the respondent has passed an order in his proceedings in Na.Ka.H.2/38259/2020, dated 31.08.2021. He would further submit that in view of the said order, the prayer sought for in this Writ Petition has become infructuous. He has produced a copy of the order passed by the respondent dated 31.08.2021 and the same is taken on record.

2.Recording the submission made by the learned Standing Counsel for State appearing for the respondent, this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
