This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent police to file a final report in Crime No.10 of 2022 on the file of 1/4

the respondent police.

2.The petitioner is the defacto complainant in Crime No.10 of 2022, which was registered against the accused persons, for the offences punishable under Sections 498(A), 406, 506(ii) of IPC and 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act. The grievance of the petitioner is that even after lapse of five months, there is no progress in the investigation. Hence, this petition. 3.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) seeks three months time to complete the investigation and file a final report.
