Criminal Original Petition is filed under section 482 of Criminal Procedure Code, praying this Hon'ble court to direct the learned III Additional District Session Judge PCR Court, Madurai to consider and dispose of the bail application to be filed by the petitioners on the same day of its filing on his surrender through Virtual video mode in connection with the case in Crime No. 800 of 2020 on the file of the 2nd Respondent Police. CRL MP(MD). No.7044 of 2020 support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of Mr.B.Arun, Advocate for the Petitioner and of Mr.V.Neelakandan, Additional Public Prosecutor On Behalf of the 1st and 2nd Respondents, this Court made the following order:

This criminal miscellaneous petition has been filed seeking extension of time granted in Crl.O.P(MD) No.5645 of 2020 on 03.06.2020.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that the order copy was made ready on 10.06.2020, but the petitioners were unable to surrender before the concerned Court, within the time and therefore, would pray for extension of time.

3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents 1 and 2.

4.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the petitioners are directed to surrender before the learned III Additional District and Sessions Judge (PCR Court) Madurai, on or before 31.12.2020 and the learned Judge shall consider the petitioners' bail application on the same day of surrender on its own merits. Till 31.12.2020, the respondent police shall not arrest the petitioners.

5.Accordingly, this petition is ordered.
