ORDER

The petitioners are husband, father-in-law and mother-in-law of the 3rd respondent. They have approached this Court that the respondent Police is harassing them under the guise of enquiry.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) submits that on the complaint of the 3rd respondent on 29.06.2024, they are conducting a petition enquiry in CSR No.341 of 2024.

3. Since it is a matrimonial dispute, this Court directs the petitioners to appear before the respondent Police for enquiry. The respondent Police shall find out the possibility of any amicable settlement between the petitioners and the 3rd respondent either by conducting mediation by the concerned Inspector of Police or by 2/4

referring the parties to the concerned Social Welfare Officer for amicable settlement. The respondent Police is expected not to harass the petitioners in the matrimonial dispute.
