The petitioner / wife seeks transfer of proceedings in HMOP.No.52 of 2019 from the file of Sub Court, Karur to the Family Court, Sivagangai, since she is residing at Thiruppathur Taluk. The Transfer is sought for solely on the ground of convenience.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner. Though the notice served on the respondent and his name is also printed in the cause list, no one has appeared either in person or through counsel.

3. Considering the convenience of petitioner / wife, the Transfer CMP is allowed and the HMOP.No.52 of 2019 pending on the file of Sub Court, Karur is withdrawn and transferred to the file of Family Court, Sivagangai, to be heard and disposed of in accordance with law. The Sub Court, Karur is directed to transmit the papers to the file of the Family Court, Sivagangai forthwith. No costs. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
